Video: A Detailed Look at Competitive Analysis

As the book explains, once you've defined the problems in your Design Thinking process, you should start to look at what your competitors are doing, both to understand where the competitive “bar” is and because some competitors may have already solved those same problems in different ways, and there is no sense in reinventing the wheel. We outlined the four tiers of competitors you should pay attention to in the book, but this video goes more in depth, providing examples of each type of competitor as well as specific tactics to gather competitive insight.
